About this ebook

She’s no fair lady...he’s a wild rogue...

When Trystan Cartwright, the Earl of Zennor is bored he makes wagers...dangerous ones. One night in a grimy little tavern in Penzance, he and his friends stumble upon a wild, hellcat of a woman masquerading as an ill-tempered lad. Unable to resist the temptation of such a challenge, Trystan wagers he can turn the little hellion into a lady in less than one month. To win he’ll have to present her at a ball in London and fool the beau monde. But he never imagines that his lady lessons will lead to love...

Bridget Ringgold believes her worst nightmare has come true when three handsome gentlemen abduct her from the stables where she secretly lives. The devilish man who calls himself Trystan tells her she’s part of a wager and that she’ll learn to be a lady within the next thirty days and if she succeeds, she’ll be given the means to live a life she’s only ever dreamed about. But it’s easier said than done with Trystan drives her mad with his endless lessons, yet the moment she waltzes in his arms, she realizes she’s in danger of losing her heart...

Most Definitely Recommending This Story! I found this book a delight to read and especially so because it has been some time since I have read a Lauren Smith story. Technically, it is nicely written and flows so easily off the page. It held my interest, amused me because of the cheeky subject matter and entertaining me very much at the same time. The characters of Trystan Cartwright, the Earl of Zennor, his two friends, Graham Humphrey and Phillip, the Earl of Kent made an interesting team teaching Bridget Ringgold how to behave as a Lady. I found Trystan and Bridget to be equally strong and enjoyed the way they butted heads, neither wanting the other to win, but I was happy to see that love reared its head and the rest is history. I read a promotional copy of the book which was supplied by BookSirens and my voluntary review is recorded above.

It all started with a wager just for fun but ended up with love.I must confess that at the beginning I was angry with trystan and his friends for the under hand way they took Bridget from her home though they had intentions that could benefit her in the long run especially considering that her life with her stepfather was painful because of the way she was treated. This is a well written and interesting book that can keep you entertained to the end. I can't wait for the next book in the series. I recommend this book to anyone who loves historical romance. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

My Fair Hellcat! This is certainly a different take on My Fair Lady, one that is entertaining and frustrating at the same time! Not a fan of Dominant males, and Trystan is one. For all her feistiness, I found Bridget’s lack of fire when he got that way confusing.I loved how Bridget not only learned how to be a lady, but still kept the fire within her. I was glad to see Trystan grow up a bit and listen to his great aunt. Phillip was adorable and would love to see him get a story.
