This is one of my favourite cookbooks! I am a hiker who loves to organize the food for my trips. I always knew that I wanted to make the meals myself but I didn't know where to start or how to use a dehydrator. A Fork in the Trail taught me everything I needed to know...and more! This book has made me realize creating backcountry meals is one of my passions in life! If you want to learn how to prepare healthy and delicious dehydrated meals yourself then this is the book for you. It is true that A Fork in the Trail will forever change the way you eat on your outdoor adventures. Your companions will be amazed and jealous of what you will pull out of your pack!
