About the author

Laurie was born in New Zealand. She grew up on farms and was interested in geneology from an early age. She discovered her Prussian background, but couldn't find out any more, so her imagination took over and she wrote the Prussian series while raising her children. This book takes the Prussian family to Vienna. Laurie currently lives in Canada, and her children have all grown up.
