Acerca deste livro eletrónico

Bill Worden had been sheriff of Grant County for eleven years, yet now he was faced with the toughest twenty-four hours of his life.

He had always succeeded in keeping things quiet between the ranchers and the farmers—but that was before he had a prisoner to hang: Ed Lake, a convicted murderer.

Now the ranchers were plotting to set Lake free, and the farmers were talking about lynching him—and it was up to Worden to keep both sides from carrying out their plans... if he could.
