About this ebook

A bad girl with a reputation, a single dad fighting for custody – love couldn’t have come at a worse time.

I had no idea when Sadie Cole caught my eye, that she would also steal my heart. My daughter’s new dance teacher with her jet black hair and haunting blue eyes intrigued me. Her tight outfits and bare skin taunted me. Most importantly, she was amazing with my daughter.

But Sadie’s reputation proceeded her... and I couldn’t afford any entanglements that would cost me custody of my daughter.

The more I spent time with her the more I realized the rumors were wrong— the town was wrong. I wanted to be the man she could count on. When what’s best for my daughter and what’s right for Sadie are in direct conflict, I hope I make the right choice.

Praise for Take a Chance on Me:

"Lea Coll has crafted a beautiful and emotionally driven romance. Tanner is everything we want in a leading man and more. Sadie has a little of all of us in her. I was immediately pulled into the romance of Tanner and Sadie and reminded that no matter how hard we try, sometimes the ghosts of our pasts can taint the future." - Andrea Johnston, Author of Men in Lexington Series

"I've read a lot of books where my heart has ached for characters before, but none have ever made my heart ache quite way it did for SadieIf you're looking for a read that's going to hit your right in the feels and leave you with your heart overflowing with love then grab this one." - Britt The Red Hatter Book Blog

"Coll pulled me in with Take a chance on Me. I wanted Tanner to take a chance on Sadie so bad! He saw what no one ever took the time to see when it comes to Sadie. If you want a story where your constantly rooting for the heroine look no further." -Johnaka at Amity Book Blog

"Slow burn, heartwarming, heartbreaking, and scorching are the words that come to my mind with this read. I was wrapped up in its embrace, never wanting it to end. This author evokes emotions that just pour out from the pages. Sadie and Tanner are my new favorite couple, putting me in a trance with their undeniable connection. When these two are together, its pure book magic. A definite five star, #oneclick read!" Falling with the Leaves Blog

The emotional undertow in this book is deep and it is strong. You may find that you want to keep the tissues handy – just in case. This book takes on some really big subjects. Some criminal, some in the court of public opinion, and some that are just plain personal. For the most part, I didn’t realize just how deep the subject matter had gotten until I had waded in way over my head. As the child of an alcoholic, there are parts of this book that hit really close to home, and I found this story to be both inspiring and heartbreaking at the same time. Through the whole book I just wanted to hug Sadie tight and fight all the demons for her. So, yeah, it was very easy for me to understand what drew Tanner in. I am in awe at the noble character of this man. No matter what was happening around him, he held true to his personal belief in what was right. This isn't a light or a quick read but it's worth every second of the time invested in it. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

I haven't read a book that contains a lot of emotions for quite a while because due to the situation around the world, I want something light and funny. But Lea Coll's books are exceptional. I sympathize with Sadie. She is a good girl even if her life isn't good for her and everyone around her seem to misunderstand her as well. I love that she is a strong woman. Tanner is also a good guy and he deserves a second chance on love for being a good dad to his daughter. Sadie and Tanner both have their own baggage but I am so glad that they find each other. This book is one of the good books I read in 2020. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book had me at single dad. I can't resist a single dad romance. I'm so glad I read this one. For me it was one emotional ride. I had tears in my eyes several times while reading this one. My heart broke for Sadie. Everything life has thrown at her she deserves a HEA. That's what makes it all the more special when Tanner and his daughter come into her life. Tanner will have you falling under his spell rather quickly. First off he is such a great dad and then the way he's in Sadie's corner, swoon. It made my heart so happy to see Sadie finally getting to be able to find her happiness. To see she has more people in her corner, heart warming and gives her hope. This is a book you do not want to pass up!
