I really enjoyed Jessie and Ian’s story in The Cowboy’s Vow by Leah Vale, book three in her Rodeo Romeos series. Ian Neisson has devoted his life to make sure the Wright Ranch ran successfully especially after promising his dying mother that he would protect his family and their rodeo stock legacy. When a determined FBI agent arrives in town implying that Ian’s grandfather might be involved in a rustling ring, Ian resolves to help with her investigation in order to keep his family safe. FBI Special Agent Jessie Martin is not thrilled to work undercover with a cowboy. She’s already had her fill of cowboy charm and empty promises; leaving her family’s ranch for larger horizons. Ian could be the model for the perfect cowboy; handsome, hard working and full of swagger. The magnetic attraction and sizzling chemistry between Jessie and Ian could mean trouble. Jessie is a professional looking to advance and knows that Ian is her way into this tight rodeo community. Trouble is brewing in more ways than they count. Ian’s heart is in danger of being broken by the beautiful Jessie with her own secrets and Jessie’s determination to leave all things cowboy related behind is being challenged by Ian and the draw he has on her. Finding the kingpin in the rustling ring is almost secondary to their relationship. Ms. Vale wrote a wonderfully sweet story that is definitely not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, amusing banter, and endearing characters giving Jessie and Ian a chance at a future together. I highly recommend The Cowboy’s Vow to other readers. This is the third book in the Rodeo Romeos series. Each book can be read alone but I suggest reading the first two books to get a good feeling about the history of the Wright Ranch and the surrounding Ranches. In this book we get to the meat of the storyline as you will so at first it's kind of details but hang in there you will really love Ian Neisson and Special Agent Jessica (Jessie) Martin's story. Once it starts moving it gets trotting along, like a horse on a nice good ride. Chemistry is sizzling between Ian and Jessie from the get-go but neither of these two wants to stop and make note of it of course. I mean she is the Special Agent sent in to find the person stealing cows and bulls and well Ian and his family are the folks under inspection...well maybe. But others in the community are for sure and Ian is supposed to help Jessie find out who it is. While he does it he needs to keep his hands to himself. YEA Right like that is going to happen with all the electric zapping between these two. Then his dad & granddad have Jessie move into his house. LIFE!

The Cowboy's Vow by Leah Vale. Book three in the Rodeo Romeos series. This book wasn't my favorite of the series but I still enjoyed the character development and the setting.
