Bernard Wysocki was born on an Indiana farm and is a graduate of Loyola University. After teaching in Chicago for eleven years, he moved to Richmond, Illinois, with his wife and three children. Now retired, Wysocki lives with his second wife, Carol, in Tennessee, near the Smoky Mountains.
