Zinelda McDonald is ’n kunstenaar wat in Kaapstad woon saam met haar musikant-man, Deon, en hulle twee katte. Sy het ’n honneursgraad in Grafiese Ontwerp aan die Universiteit van Noordwes se Potchefstroomkampus verwerf en illustreer meestal kinderboeke en ontwerp voorblaaie vir jeugliteratuur.
