Book 1 of the learning curves series

Take six Americans in Paris, a French cooking school and a sexy chef.

Bring together in an intensive workshop.

Let the mix simmer for a long weekend.

Serves one or two.

Savor cautiously, it's hot and a little spicy.

Unlike a lot of books that are romantic and sexy, this one has characters that are believable, and you want to get to know them. And there is a plot. It unfolds like a slow striptease, so you want to know more and keep reading.  And, as you continue to read, you see how these people start to blend together like the ingredients in a delicious recipe  that only a skillful French author could whip up.

The “sexy” is a silky soufflé and not a hot tamale.

It’s not quite erotica, but it has erotic moments.

You’ll finish French Cooking 101, feeling satisfied and waiting for another “meal” of the author’s writing. And that’s just the way it should be! I loved the additional of (actual) recipes at the end of the book,  along with a tempting (advance book) sample of what you can expect next from the author. The book isn’t huge…I read it in one sitting, and enjoyed every minute of it. As a book reviewer who is exposed to plenty of really raunchy writing that is nothing more than a framework on which to place pornographic sex scenes, this was a breath of fresh air that had me believing that love and romance does still exist. If you plan to buy Learning Curves 1 you might as well get Learning Curves 2, Advanced French Kissing.

Just go for it and buy them together because you won’t want to wait to know what happens next. I know I can’t!

Авторы туралы

Born in Manhattan, Olivia Rigal spent her youth going back and forth between the United States and France.

She lived and studied law in both countries.

While studying she kept herself busy with a variety of jobs.

She worked in the Clignancourt Flea Market as well as in a Parisian recording studio.

In Manhattan, she was a dog groomer and then an administrative assistant in a famous English auction house.

Olivia settled in France to raise her family. She travelled throughout South East Asia and has a special fondness for Laos and Thailand.

When her law practice does not keep her busy in Paris, she runs away to write novels in her Florida home next to MacArthur Beach State Park.

In December 2012 she started publishing short novels in English as an independent. Early 2014, she began translating them into French.

The story she tells stand alone. However her characters often meet so you can run into them again in several stories.

She loves to chat with readers so please feel free to send her an note telling her what you thought of her books, visit her site or her FB page.
