Excellent book. First Gemmell book I've read -- I already had bought books 2 ; 3, before I finished legend. comes at a perfect time, cuz I've been looking for someone new, who's catalogue I can crush for a while. I def believe I've found my guy! dynamite characters building and he allows you to figure some things out about the characters, without dumbing it down or seeming like the easy way out!

Enjoyed. Never lost my attention, at the end of the story I wanted more. Hope to see the story continue. Meantime I will be reading his other stories. I'm hooked.

One of my favorite books by my absolute favorite author. I have not read any book by Mr. Gemmell that was anything short of epic. R.I.P. David Gemmell, you are sorely missed sir.
