In this Witch and Demon Hunter series book, LAMB (Locating and Assessing Magical Beings) headquarters is filled with Scottish ghosts all claiming to be witch Fiona’s loves from the past. Fiona is at a loss when one of the ghosts pleads with her to return to him. Giving her a tartan leads Fiona and Lorcan on a wild adventure to find the source of the disturbance. They are stymied by someone truly bent on evil. Exciting events erupt from the pages. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book is so good I don’t even know where to start with a review. The story is amazing and such a fun ride. Full of magical beings and other creatures, but the main focus is on Fiona, a witch and Lorcan, half-demon, who are work partners at LAMB, locating and assessing magical beings, which includes time travel and other magic on their missions. The chemistry and banter between them added a bit of humor to the story. I had trouble putting this book down.
