Tense NYPD K-9 Thriller This is the third in this series about the Brooklyn K-9 Unit, and this series is a spin-off of the original NYPD K-9 Unit series. Some of the stories and characters are shared in both series. This story features a German Shepherd that is attack trained and his lovely handler. She is working with a US Marshall on a cold case and they are fighting romantic feelings. In the meantime, someone is trying to kill her. It is tense with non-stop action and a touch of romance. I have enjoyed these books so much. They are clean, not graphic violence, with minimal blood, no gore, and no sex.
