Shelly Arneson is an elementary school principal currently finishing her doctorate in education. She lives with her husband Dave in Niceville, Florida, along with the second, third, and fourth best Labs in the world. Shelly’s book Communicate and Motivate: The School Leader’s Guide to Effective Communication was published in April, 2011 by Eye on Education and she makes time to present her tips on communication at conferences around the country. In between working and writing, Shelly enjoys travelling and reading.
