Very interesting. A little short, but it at least touched on all aspects of Victorian life. It's made more personal by the relevant and real quotes from actual people who lived during the time speaking about more than just the stereotypical things that pop to mind when you hear the word "Victorian."

More summary, than actual historical research.
About the author
Christopher Hibbert, one of the best-loved and most popular historians of the twentieth century, wrote more than fifty books, including King Arthur, The Rise and Fall of the House of Medici, and The Borgias and Their Enemies.
