A struggling broadway actress praying for her big break, Jill works odd jobs to make ends meet. After a devastating audition, and with rent due in a week, Jill takes a last minute waitressing gig for a holiday party two days before Christmas. Showing up at the posh mansion ready to serve, Jill is handed her outfit for the night…cue sexy elf in pointy shoes and a scary song & dance number. If that wasn’t bad enough, her eyes snag on the incredibly gorgeous broadway producer that had a front row seat at her crash and burn audition. When they are stuck together on the late train to NYC, things get interesting. One weekend and several heated moments later, and Jill’s insecurities get the better of her…and then she gets a phone call that will change her life. I love Christmas stories! Christmas with the Billionaire was a fun, sweet, and light-hearted read. The chemistry between the characters was swift, hot, and palpable. The storyline was fun and intriguing, and executed in a way that made me smile and kept me reading. The characters were well developed, especially for the shorter length, and I loved Jill’s sass and attitude. This was a true holiday treat, and I devoured it all! Kristie K

This was a short, and very sweet novella just in time for the Christmas season. Jill is an aspiring actress whom we met briefly in Perfect Match. She’s hoping to finally hit the big time and score her first on Broadway show. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned for poor Jill. From having her bag containing precious accessories for her call-back, to being ignored by the show’s gorgeous billionaire theatre producer and his director buddy, it seems Serendipity just isn’t her friend. Forced back to reality, Jill has to find her rent money somewhere and takes a last minute waitressing gig at a mansion in Connecticut. The last person she expects to meet there is the hot as hell billionaire she just verbally reamed hours earlier. Oliver Gage knows he’s seen those familiar red tresses before, but it’s not until Jill begins singing and dancing that he figures it out. He’s amused and enamoured but Jill is less than enthused. A late train ride home that gets delayed by a sudden snowfall has Oliver extending his hospitality and taking her home to meet his folks. Then,one innocent little joke on Jill’s part backfires and leads them to spending more time together than even she’d have expected. I just simply can't get enough of Lila Monroe's books! Funny, sweet, and oh so sexy, Lila's always leaves me wanting more! Christmas with the Billionaire is just another example of Lila's effervescent and laugh-out-loud approach to romantic stories. The storyline is quite unique, as all her books are, and the characters portray combustible chemistry, together and individually, that makes them feel genuine, natural, and heartfelt. The comedic and flirtatious relationship between the characters exudes sincerity and openness, that can often times be found lacking in short stories. And match those qualities with the ever scorching, red-hot romance budding between them, and this is one novella you don't want to pass up!
