Ratings and reviews

Immensely enjoyable read. You never know what you're going to get with a free novel but this was a corker. Fast paced, character driven whodunit - I soooo love Jaye & Jake with their banter & sarcasm. The book was a hoot & left me giggling with their back & forth verbal battles. Good plot with just enough twists & turns & nothing too technical in regards to procedure. Nothing worse than a dry coroner/medical examiner series that bogs you down with detail. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

It would've been 5 stars if it had been a little longer, and with a bit more character development. The end scene seemed sudden and didn't quite add up. Good, solid writing and I did enjoy it 😊

I wasn't so sure about it at first I thought I would be too inappropriate but It wasn't and it was awesome I just wished wish the rest were free I can't really go get Google play cards or iTunes so I loved this one was free it now is in my pile of save to buy pile ☺
