About this eBook

Sunday Times bestseller Lisa Gardner's first novella, THE 7TH MONTH, takes readers into an eventful day in the life of Boston Detective D.D. Warren. Featuring an extract from CATCH ME.

D.D. should be taking it easy in the seventh month of her pregnancy. Instead, she accepts a small consulting role on the set of a serial killer film, thinking that serving as a police expert and making a little extra money may make her feel more useful than she's felt for a while. A simple task, until a crew member is found beaten to death. Suddenly, D.D.'s date with Hollywood is serious. Extremely pregnant, on the trail of a killer and surrounded by a hundred and four murder suspects, D.D. must quickly unravel a tangled web of lies. As another cast member is attacked, D.D. realizes that like it or not, her priorities have changed - and her last desperate hope is that she can catch a killer before she and her unborn baby pay the ultimate price.

It was a fine, short. I listened to the Audible version and, after it started, I remembered that I don't care for this narrator. But I did enjoy the story.

A good old fashioned detective mystery - with a female lead. My mom loved murder mystery stories (think Perrry Mason & Columbo ) and every once in a while I feel like reading something she would have enjoyed. She would have loved this one!

A short story that mostly recounts the birth of DD Warren's child. A little mystery in the background. A quick read
