The story line itself is entertaining with its quick pace and heartfelt moments.. i cannot give it a 5 star rating due to the writing itself. it felt very juvenile in many scenes especially those pertaining to Dri and Ro. i also dont feel like the plot is that Original because it made me think of other teen dramas released in the last few years. the whole post apocalyptic world is a cool concept but its been done so many times... however the perspective the author takes with this book is wonderful because it gives christian readers and non christian alike a world that parallels to our own in many ways. What i do love is the heavy atmosphere of the maker.. the ideals in this book made me look at the way i see my own life and relationship with jesus in a different light. At the end of the day this is a good read i look forward to the next book i did enjoy it for the most part.
