Cuban Studies has been published annually by the University of Pittsburgh Press since 1985. Founded in 1970, it is the preeminent journal for scholarly work on Cuba. Each volume includes articles in both English and Spanish, a large book review section, and an exhaustive compilation of recent works in the field.

About the author

Lisandro Pérez is director of the Cuban Research Institute and associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Florida International University. He has contributed to several edited collections and has written articles for journals such as Columbia Journal of World Business, and International Migration Review

Uva de Aragón is assistant director of the Cuban Research Insitute at Florida International University. Her books include Alfonso Hernández-Cata: Un escritor cubano, salmantino y universal and Los nombres del amor.
