The book is good and I learned a lot, though there are typos and a few places where decisions around specific code usage that makes no sense to me (for instance, applying key/value pairs to an array object, where a simple object or dictionary should have been used...) that makes learning it a bit more confusing. The biggest reason this loses a star, though, is because IT IS MISSING AN ENTIRE CHAPTER (Chapter 11). The Amazon version is also missing a whole chapter; if I had known this I would have bought a different book... I would have liked to go to the advanced topic/big O notation portion despite having studied it elsewhere...
