Longarm’s about to mix business with pleasure…
Only a fool would expect to find gold in the decaying town of Comstock Lode. Still, folks are buying mining shares by the linear foot. Sounds like a scam to Longarm. Especially when stock investors start disappearing. And the federal officers who’ve been sent in to investigate are missing too…
Billy Vale needs to send another officer, and there’s only one man he trusts will come out alive: Custis Long. And since the killers are expecting another solo act, Billy sets Custis up with a partner. But if there’s one thing Longarm has made perfectly clear, it’s that he works alone. There’s no way in hell he’ll ever team up with another man.
