I read these books in high school and I was delighted by the fact that I could purchase them for my Android phone. I, personally, believe that this series is MUCH better than Shan's Vampire Assistant books. They seem... more evolved. There is a lot more blood and gore, and even the flow suggests it may be for an older audience (I would say 16+). Love these books.

I read this series back in highschool and everything from the writing style, to the characters, to the storyline are all unique, original, and perfect. I remember never being able to stop reading them until I was finished and the imagery always exceeded my expectations. If you love adventure and horror with side doses of "feels" I highly recommend these.

This is actually one of my favorite books. It has a perfect amount of inner-character conflict and twist among the antagonists. The display of darkness and conflict is perfect for young adults and adults alike. Darren Shan, you never let me down! :)
