About this ebook

Reunited after four hundred years, three sisters join together to vanquish the power that tore them apart...and embrace the sorcery that is their birthright.

Abandoned as an infant, Willow Black spent her childhood in foster care, the object of whispers and pity...and rumors about being certifiably crazy. Telling your young friends that you can foresee the future-and summon the rain-is a surefire way to end up in the psychiatric ward. But when Dr. Sebastian Frasier arrives at the facility, Willow's whole life takes a turn. Sebastian is the handsomest man she's ever actually laid eyes on-even though he has been in Willow's visions for years. But not even she could have predicted the storm of passion that engulfs them both. With Sebastian by her side, Willow is emboldened to embrace her history, and the sisters she never knew. Soon, the true power in her blood awakes-and the battle she was born to fight begins. While the tempest rages, Willow must depend on the friends and family she's found-and the man she has loved forever...

In Smoke on the Water, the final book of this enchanting new trilogy,
New York Times bestselling author Lori Handeland sweeps readers into a bewitching tale of secrets, sisterhood, and the stunning magic of love.

With visions that landed her in a psychiatric facility, Willow tries to convince herself that she’s getting better but everything changes when a fellow patient tells her she’s a witch in this pulse-pounding paranormal romance. Dr. Sebastian Crane works hard to convince Willow that strange occurrences is not the result of witchcraft while resisting his attraction to her and the reader can’t help but be captivated by this romance as they are both thrown into the middle of a storm of supernatural events that can’t be explained any other way. The chemistry between Willow and Sebastian is a heavy-duty pull that neither can ignore and obviously puts them in compromising positions and the emotional turmoil that flows from this relationship grips the heart as they struggle to overcome the ‘non-believer’ handicap. Fast paced and smooth flowing, this plot keeps readers on the edge with lots of suspense, excitement, magic and romance as the strong bewitching characters demand attention. The story continues the Sisters of the Craft fight against the evil Roland and his followers which provides lots of excitement and spine tingling tension with magical battles and beliefs being suspended with some spectacularly supernatural events. So while there is obviously a fight to stay alive and lots of emotional turmoil due to Willow and Sebastian’s situation, there is also the excitement of the sister finally coming together which increases their powers, which is a good thing as the danger is escalating. Vivid imagery brings the story to life making the events realistic and believable which in turn makes it easy for the reader to become completely absorbed in the story. If you haven’t read the first two books, I do have to recommend that you do so before reading this one as Willow’s story begins when the events from the previous story takes place which connects all the dots and sheds light on some of those events. I was completely spellbound by Willow and Sebastian’s story and I have to say there were quite a few unexpected surprises that I sure didn’t see coming.
