Good introduction to a new series, just felt like there were a lot of complicated plots going on at the same time (Mexican drug lord, child bullying, computer hacking etc...) and less emotional depth. I would have liked to see the author spend a little bit more time on how Emma's bullying situation was resolved, why she started calling Shawn Daddy and is she okay with all the new developments. As a main character she was pretty two dimensional.

For me, DENIED was a winner. Stuck in an airport forever and needing a distraction, Lori Sjoberg's story got me through the ordeal. The story line was expected, and the sex explicit. Good writing. Happy ending. easy read.

The title of this book may be Denied, but there's absolutely no denying what an excellent read it is! I loved the strong female characters even down to the six year old. Nothing better than a love story with romance, humor, & steamy chemistry.
