"Und sonst war nix?" Gerlinde schaut den Burschen forschend an.

"Tu’s net, Benno", fällt ihm das Madel da ins Wort. "Hab wenigstens den Mut, zu deinem Abenteuer zu stehen. Vielleicht ist’s ja auch mehr als das. Aber das ist allein deine Sach." Gerlinde zieht ihren Verlobungsring vom Finger. "Bittschön, Benno. Vielleicht hast du ja noch Verwendung dafür. Ich brauch ihn jedenfalls net mehr." Mit diesen Worten dreht sie sich um und lässt den Benno einfach stehen ...
