The group takes up residence at an escarpment to the east. There, they learn to live simple lives, develop close relationships including alliances that might never have occurred elsewhere, and eventually discover that they are not alone.
During their exile however, one thing remains paramount. If they continue to survive, they must somehow punish the invaders. But how? Can a weak and decimated human population arise from the dust and leap into the twenty-sixth century or beyond? Can their new friend, LX, be of assistance?
Louis Roquain is a retired school principal and educator, having spent 35 years in and out of the classroom. He has written several articles; some published on-line, others in journals and quite a few for school as well as local newspapers. An avid writer, he is presently occupied creating a sequel to The Harvest. Roquain is an ardent Science Fiction fan with a penchant for novels and movies involving interplanetary travel and alien encounters. Presently he lives in Windsor, Canada, with his wife of 44 years.
