About this eBook

“Sands writes books that keep readers coming back for more.”

Katie MacAlister, author of A Girl’s Guide to Vampires

In the world of the sexy and seductive Argeneau family of vampires, true love is good from the first bite to the last. Love Bites is a classic from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Lynsay Sands, the second volume in her much beloved Argeneau series—the  story of an achingly hot three hundred year-old bachelor immortal and the beautiful coroner he chooses as his lifemate. Paranormal romance just doesn’t get any tastier than this!

This is book two in the series. Ms. Sands is excellent at bringing complex characters to life. She also excels at writing witty dialogue. Now, for my issues with the first two books. For whatever reason, I haven't felt that deep connection between the hero and heroine. I've felt no spark. Also, I found myself swipping through page after page sometimes, bypassing repetitive inner dialogue. Also, I found my self frustrated by a ridiculous scenario toward the end involving the protagonist. It felt sloppy.

Ettiene is my dream man. Rachel is one lucky woman! Much like the first book in the series, this one takes you further into the world of the Argeneau clan. This is where the refining of the turning process and life mates starts to happen, though we don't get the full scope of everything for a few more books. Definitely still one of my favorites.
