Funny, witty, written and paced to absolute perfection. I wish I could give this more stars! I loved the characters, loved the story line and I loved the ending. The story starts with Emily thinking she is losing the love of her life, and she starts to think back to when they first met and how they fell in love and their life together. I love all the references to 80's songs throughout the book, they really enhanced the story. The love scenes were off the charts sexy, and not repetitive, every one was different and exciting. I loved Louis filthy mouth! And by the end of the book, I feel I know both of the characters they are very well developed, interesting and fun to read about. This book is a must read, you will not be disappointed!(

If you can take away a lesson from a book, it's a book worth reading. Love In Rewind reminded me of something very important…communication is the key! If you cannot communicate, be honest and open, no relationship will last. We tend to forget this tiny bit of information but it's something that can save a marriage, a relationship, a friendship. I love the way it started off in the present tense. We all deal with issues in marriages. While I reading I kept saying…."preach it girl", "we all have been there" and my favorite "ugh, men!!!!" Then the book takes us in rewind, to the past. To where it ALL began. I liked how Louis and Emily met. Might not be ideal to some but when it comes to love anything can happen! You better believe it!!! Louis had me swooning. My lady bits were getting excited, I was getting hot & sweaty. He's hot. He's romantic. He's handsome. He's sweet. Love in Rewind is romance packed; action packed; drama packed; friendship packed. It had me laughing, crying, cursing. I love books that give me emotion. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to get to the top and I feel like LIR did that for me.

I laughed; I cried; I cursed; I victory danced; I held my breath; and I sighed with relief. Hands down one of the best romance novels I've read with not a single verb tense error, no preposition misuse in common sayings, and only one comma placement I'd quibble over. Alexander is a spectacular writer. Thank you for this gem of a read.
