I enjoyed reading this one but it definitely made me happy to be well past my prom days. All the pressure of prom-posals seem to take all the fun out of things but I digress. This story is about Alex "Kov" Koviak and Bailey Banfield. They have a secret away from school friendship. Outwardly it seems that Alex has it all while Bailey seems to have to work twice as hard for everything but they know each other well and see the true person under the exterior trappings. When Bailey asks Alex for help with her project he agrees but he has no idea the effect it will have on him. Alex soon learns that material things aren't really the most important thing in life. I felt this book was very well done. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Alex and Bailey change and mature as the story went on. I'd recommend this one.

This cute story is full of over the top promposals, a secret friendship, and growing that friendship into something more. Alex and Bailey have secretly been friends for months since he went through her line at one of her jobs. He's a rich, popular, athlete. She's poor, a loner, and obsessed with film. Their friendship is pretty special, they spend a ton of time together, but no one around them knows about it. Until Bailey asks Alex to help her ask someone else to prom and plan an elaborate promposal. Then there's no more hiding just how he feels about her. This book was adorable and I couldn't put it down. I loved the friendship between Alex and Bailey. I missed the first book in this series but I'm definitely planning on checking it out!! *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*
