Glad to see Rowan having found her own person to love and belong to. She is blessed to have someone like Kyle who is so patient and persevering all throughout her emotional issues and ordeal. So this is Andrew's backstory, one can't help but pity him no matter how messed up he was for being infatuated with the two girl bestfriends and not really knowing who to choose from, which in my opinion wasn't actually the true kind of love. Charlie, despite being at first chosen was kind of shortchanged here and never really was happy at the end. In another book Andrew did find his own self and Maddy. This interconnected series, though standalones in its own way makes you curious what happens next to the character that had pasts with the main characters.
