Prescott, the mysterious lizard, teaches Lucas powerful magic secrets. But if those secrets fall into the wrong hands, it could mean grave danger for him and everyone he loves.
 
Now Lucas must learn to control his new power with both his head and his heart. His biggest challenge comes when he must face his greatest fear to save the life of a friend and a helpless stranger. Lucas wonders why he was chosen to have this gift and if he will have the courage to meet the challenges on his path. But the more he uses his magic power, the more he realizes the greatest change is the one taking place within him.

As a father, grandfather and teacher, Hugo has a unique ability for crafting stories for children and incorporating lessons into magical adventures. Hugo has published two children’s books that have the children asking for more. His school assembly presentation on M.A.G.I.C., mind, attitude, goals, integrity and choice, mirrors the stories he writes. This book began as a request from his co-author, eight-year-old grandson, Luke Cowdell, who wanted help in writing a “chapter book”.
