Le poème Alexandra est la seule oeuvre conservée de Lycophron de Chalcis, auteur tragique fameux du monde alexandrin (III° s. avant J.C.). L'auteur y rapporte indirectement les prophéties de Cassandre (alias Alexandra) le jour où son frère Pâris part vers la Grèce pour enlever Hélène. Cette oeuvre est considérée depuis l'Antiquité comme "le poème obscur" par excellence. La traduction proposée par Christophe Cusset et Cédric Chauvin s'efforce de transmettre la complexité du texte.
