I rarely leave reviews, despite being an avid reader. But, I really loved this book! The characters were well developed and endearing. It had me laughing out loud too many times to count. The only bad thing is I read it start to finish in one day bc I couldn't put it down... which means I didn't get anything else done. 😄

Mr. Wrong Number by Lynn Painter is a brother’s best friend romance that makes this an enjoyable fun-filled love story, as Olivia falls for her brother’s best friend Colin. Olivia Marshall has the worse luck in the world; her latest disaster being accidently starting a fire while burning love letters from her ex. This disaster not only has her losing all her belongings, but also homeless, and jobless. Fortunately, her brother and his roommate, his longtime irritating best friend Colin, let he stay in their apartment. Then Olivia gets a text from a random number asking what she’s wearing. Before she knows it, she ends up texting with the stranger, creating a “text-relationship” with this guy, Mr. Wrong Number, while she tries to navigate her new life. Soon, Olivia starts relying on Mr. Wrong Number while they bounced back ideas about life and plans for the future. Colin Beck has not once thought about Olivia in any way other than her being his best friend's chaotic, annoying, hot mess younger sister. Even when she moved in, he could have never believed that he'd ever think of her as more than that. But the longer he sees her, the more he puts together the puzzle that is Olivia and he begins to understand her a bit more. Colin's going to get a few more surprises but nothing tops the fact that Olivia is less mess, more beautiful, and is getting under his skin. The chemistry between these two is off-the charts, lighting up their apartment building. Ms. Painter wrote an enjoyable, humorous, delightful story read full of snark and sass and a lot of laughs that should not be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, family dynamics, clever humorous banter, lots of laughs, and strong secondary characters giving Olivia and Coline a chance at love, happiness, and a future together. I highly recommend Mr. Wrong Number to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Olivia Marshall's life is a whole heap of bad luck. After her live-in boyfriend cheats on her and she then accidentally burns down her apartment building when she was burning his love letters Olivia has to move back home. Olivia moves in with her brother Jack and his best friend Colin Beck. Olivia and Colin have always had a love/hate relationship and it is obvious that he has always thought of her as "Jack's little sister". When Olivia receives a sexy text from a random number, her life starts to look up. Her real life may be in the toilet, but this pretend life is lots of fun and soon Olivia and Mr. Wrong Number are texting each other daily. With Olivia now living in their apartment, Colin starts to see her in a different light. Imagine his surprise when he realizes that Miss Misdial is actually Olivia! The chemistry between Olivia and Colin really starts to sizzle and these two finally take their relationship to another level. Just when it looks like things are going perfect, truths come out and everything blows up. It will take a drastic move to bring these two back together, but it will be done in a spectacular fashion and Olivia and Colin will finally get their perfect ending. I just adored this brother's best friend love story. Olivia was such a fun, entertaining character. Her wit was 100% on point! I really loved Colin too! He was such a straight arrow and it was fun watching him interact with Olivia's chaos! This story had some of the best humor I have read in a long time while also adding a little heat. There is also a sneak peak of Jack's story and I will definitely be reading that!
