About this ebook

Waking up with a wife is not how black ops soldier Zane “Zany” Scott pictured his first trip to Las Vegas ending. Forever isn’t in his vocabulary anymore. So why did he marry a woman he just met?

Nerdy Eden Hall isn’t the kind of girl people notice. She’s always lived in her twin’s shadow, always been plain and sensible compared to her sister’s big personality. But when her sister gets engaged to the man Eden secretly loves, it’s inevitable she’ll drink too much at the bachelorette party.

It’s not inevitable that she’ll impulsively marry the hottest guy she’s ever laid eyes on, though. Of course they’re going to divorce, but it takes more time to do that than it did to get married. Time in which they’ll discover they’ve got more in common than simply burning up the sheets together.

Just when they think they might have something worth keeping, it all goes wrong and Eden becomes the target of a killer. Zane will have to risk everything to save his wife. Because if he doesn’t, he could lose the woman who, against all odds, kickstarted his heart into beating again.

Lynn Raye Harris delivers another gripping installment in the "Hostile Operations Team: Strike Team 2" series with "HOT Honor." This tale of unexpected love and suspense pulls readers in from the first page. Zane "Zany" Scott, a black ops soldier, wakes up in Las Vegas with a wife he never saw coming, and forever isn't a word in his vocabulary. Why did he marry a woman he just met? The answer lies in the quirky and endearing Eden Hall, who's often overshadowed by her vivacious twin sister. But when Eden's secret love gets engaged to her sister, her world takes a tipsy turn at a bachelorette party, leading to an impulsive marriage with the most captivating man she's ever met. As the story unfolds, it's clear that Zane and Eden are not just a couple of strangers with a hasty marriage, but two souls who find surprising common ground. Their journey is a rollercoaster of sizzling encounters and heartfelt connection. Lynn Raye Harris skillfully crafts characters and scenes that come to life, immersing readers in their world. "HOT Honor" is a perfect blend of romance and suspense, with characters deeply in love and riveting, pulse-pounding moments. Harris has a remarkable ability to continually exceed expectations, leaving readers eagerly awaiting her next book. I always love the scenes with the team members and their wives and I can't wait to see what she has in store for Ghost. If you're looking for a story that's "unputdownable," full of passion and thrilling suspense, and characters who'd do anything for each other, "HOT Honor" is an absolute must-read. Lynn Raye Harris has once again raised the bar in the world of romantic suspense. I received a free ARC from the author; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

HOT Honor by Lynn Raye Harris. This is Zane and Eden's story. I love this story. Sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas. Zane was the last man standing everyone else has found someone. His past was holding him back from finding love. He went to Vegas to celebrate with his sister. He didn't know that when he was looking at the woman across the room, he was looking at his future. After Zane rescue's Eden, they get to know each other better. So much better that the next morning he woke up married to her. Then the fun begins. They thought they wanted a divorce but the more time they spent together, the stronger there attraction became and of course the sex was so good they could keep their hands off each other. Their past relationships needed to be dealt with, so that they could move on. Until Eden life was in danger and he she was gone. Then Zane realized that she was what he wanted and loved. All he know was he had to get her back. Love their story.

I absolutely fell into Zane and Eden’s story. They were amazing together. I don’t think that it could have been any better. They had chemistry, and they learned about each other as they went. There was character development for them both, which I love because it makes the story better. It was amazing to have appearances from other members of Strike Team 2, and spouses, as well as little Easter Eggs sprinkled throughout the book. I’m excited for what’s coming, I won't be disappointed.
