About this ebook

Oh God! This mind… who will understand it ever? A mind is an amazing concoction, impossible to understand. Human is just a part of this huge universe; one of the many. But he is gifted with mind, intellect and speech by the almighty. Why did God confer these qualities upon human? Did HE want man to be superior to nature? That is where it went wrong. These qualities made man vulnerable. Nature was its own simple self whereas human was soon full of sorrow owing to the qualities bestowed upon. Though nature does not possess these qualities, it surely reflects emotions which enable it to sustain through all calamities. Through thick and thin, rain and storms, thundering and floods, summer and winter, fall and autumn; nature upholds every time. There appears to be extreme sanity, rationality and lucidity in the way nature faces it all. The tree watches its fall with such indifference!‘Idam n mam: This is not mine’; One should attain such neutrality which would then end all our sorrow, but this is not the case. We remain at the very beginning of the journey that we had started. We prefer lingering into past. Good or bad, past is gone forever and won’t ever return. Was I not acutely aware of this all? Yet, I was unable to get past the shadows of past.  Remember Vetal who would never get down from Vikram’s back? Past is so much like him! It would never get down from our mind.
