I absolutely fell in love with MJ's characters, Tessa and Lucas. I've not read a lot of coming of age genre so it took me a bit to get into the high school scene and the immaturity of their actions; BUT having said that, they should be immature and I feel that MJ nailed the characters and their reactions to life given the age that they were. There were times that I wanted to smack them along side of the head, but what teenagers do we know that don't get that reaction out of us at least some of the time. The story and characters were realistic, rebellious, and oh so lovable. I can't wait to see what the next book brings to the plot.

It had funny parts and found myself laughing aloud but ending was disappointing and next book in series aftercreadong sample didn't seem to follow on.

Liked the characters. A little disjointed in some spots. Needs polishing and spelling and grammar. Needed better ending or cliff hanger.
