About the author

Michael Longo is Associate Professor in Law at Victoria University, Melbourne. His teaching and research are currently focused on Human Rights Law, European Union Law and Constitutional Law. Michael has published widely in these subject areas. His publications include Constitutionalising Europe: Processes and Practices (2006).

Philomena Murray is Professor and Jean Monnet Chair ad personam in the School of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Melbourne, where she is Research Director of Regional Governance in the EU Centre on Shared Complex Challenges. She has published widely EU governance; EU-Asia relations and EU-Australia relations.
