I really enjoyed the plot of this novel. It’s one of those tales that you know is going to go awry right from the get-go but can’t wait to see how it happens. Throughout the story is funny and sweet, and always entertaining. The mix of a strong yet sensitive hero with a heroine who simply wants to life her life on her own terms really set this novel on fire. If I had any issues with this novel it would be the fact that the characters’ lives are so far removed from my reality that sometimes they were hard to identify with. At the same time, Crowne does a fantastic job of making them approachable. Crowne has yet again created a sweet & funny romance that kept me on my toes. It was an enjoyable read that I’d definitely recommend to others. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.

To Win Her Trust by Mackenzie Crowne...I loved this book so much, it is by far my favorite book in the series. This book has romance, love and mystery, what more can you ask for. The mystery made this story enjoyable wondering who is doing it. Mackenzie storytelling has a gripping way of holding you on from the first page until the end. Another awesome read in this series! We got a preview of Max and Jessi in the prior book and their full story in this one didn't disappoint. These characters grabbed my attention from the first page and I couldn't put this one down. Jessi may seem to have it all but the one thing she longs for is freedom. Her overprotective family has put so much security around her she can't move...or breathe. She develops a plan to get the one guy who has ever caught her eye to pretend to be her boyfriend. He's a big brawling MMA star, so maybe then her family will ease up a little. The only problem is that even though Max has seemed just as interested he's always kept those emotional walls up where she is concerned. Can she convince him to help her. Max is having no part of it until he finds out Jessi has a stalker. Then there is no way he's trusting her safety to anyone but himself. Will he be able to keep his heart safe at the same time??? Definitely a book I recommend to everyone.
