About this ebook

Wanted: Sexy sun-kissed surfer for hot summer fling.

Innocent Alexia Burton needs to become sexually confident for an upcoming acting role, and that means taking a lover. Someone she’s attracted to. Someone who’ll teach her what she needs to know, but not ask for more than she’s prepared to give. She needs to learn the intensity of true desire and then have him walk away.

Parker Hargreaves is determined to make amends for treating Alexia badly all those years ago. He’s changed and wants her to think better of him. If that means letting her sharpen her sexual moves on him, so be it. He’ll do it. His playboy reputation certainly won’t suffer.

He just doesn’t count on walking away being so hard.

First book by this author but not my last. What an enjoyable second chance romances between Parker and Lexie. I loved the push / pull between these two and the secondary characters Lexi and Josh were just as fun to watch although Lexi could get annoying at times. I had more fun watching Dee and Lexi honestly. Dee is Lexi's best friend and she comes to Australia with her from LA. They are the total opposites in personality. This book had the perfect amount of heat in it and it was a great way to meet a new author for me. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.

"The Playboy" by Madeline Ash is book three in the "Hot Aussie Heroes" series. This can be read as a standalone. This is the story of Alexia Burton and Parker Hargreaves. Alexia became a successful actress. She wants to change to a different type of role than she normally plays. This role is a romantic role. She will not get this role if she does not become sexually confident. Alexia decides to go back to Byron Bay to see if she can have a summer fling. The one person she does not want to see is Parker. He was a rich kid that treated her badly. Of course, one of the first person she sees is Parker. Parker has changed and is really upset with how he treated Alexia when they were teens. He wants to make amends and wants a meaningful relationship which is quite the opposite from when they were teens. So will Parker help her with getting ready for this new role? This is a really cute, sweet, and steamy story about second chances. People can change. I especially liked Parker's character. A great quick romantic story! I received a copy of this book from Tule Publishing for an honest review. FYI, contains mature content.

About the author

Madeline has always lived in Melbourne. She is emotionally allergic to spontaneity, and yet doesn’t mind the weather that drags her into rain when she’s planned for sunshine. She likes to call this her wild side.

She’s a Virgo, vegetarian, and once had a romantic suspense-style dream in which the hero was a shredded lettuce sandwich and the villain was a cherry tomato. The tomato got away. She took the dream as a sign that she’d better stick to writing contemporary romance.

Her stories have spunky heroines, strong heroes, and as much dialogue as she can cram in. As for why she writes romance, she’s in a long-term relationship with the genre and writing such stories makes it happy.
