The Great Thanksgiving Caper
As Thanksgiving approaches, the holiday is not the only thing on everyone’s mind in Tawas. Bagging the huge, yet elusive, tom turkey is—with a prize of five thousand dollars. That is, until the body of a meter reader turns up on Bernice’s property shot with an arrow!
Agnes is flabbergasted. Not at the murder, but at Bernice trying to drag the body off her property. When Bernice’s reputation as the cat lady is finally unveiled, she joins forces with Agnes and Eleanor to solve The Great Turkey Caper.
The Great Christmas Caper
When a semi-trailer filled with toys for the children’s party is stolen right before Agnes’ and Eleanor’s eyes, they’re left holding the bag. Agnes convinces the party organizer, Emily Harris, to give them a chance to find the toys before calling in the sheriff. Before long though, it’s apparent that they’ll need the help of Sheriff Peterson.
Will Agnes and Eleanor be able to save Christmas for the needy children of Tawas in time for their Christmas party, or will they be so lost in the twist of turns of the case that they finally admit to themselves they might not be cut out to solve this case?

When Sheriff Peterson is injured during a high-speed chase — Agnes and Eleanor spring into action.
Agnes Barton and Sheriff Peterson’s working relationship is shoddy at best. He’d rather balk at the idea of Agnes and Eleanor independently investigating his cases. That changes though when he’s injured in a high-speed chase. While the good sheriff is laid up at a secret location for his own safety, the girls are on the case.
It’s hard to investigate the true nature of the sheriff’s accident though when Rodney Scott is murdered at the local bowling alley and all they have to rely on is the Interim Sheriff Karl Roberts. Agnes needs to quell her suspicions about Roberts as the girls launch an investigation that has them at their wits end and it will take more than luck to solve this case.
