Ratings and reviews

nice biker daddy and ok mommy but the plot and pace are a bit contrived, Slash shows up saying "One night could never be enough" out of the blue with no foundation, then Brooklyn gives in with zero resistance like a pricked balloon about him buying her a car? parts like that don't ring true and spoil what could have been a nice little romance.

This was my first Emma Slate book, but I definitely enjoyed it a lot - just based on the smooth as hell writing, charming characters who developed overtime, the fun side characters, the romance/chemistry, the issues could've been developed more. But I enjoyed this one. And will either read the previous books or hold my breath for a future release by Emma. We shall see.

I love Brooklyn and Slash's story. There's danger and corruption, but that's no match for their love. The story unfolds beautifully. This is the style of writing I love. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review
