2 1/2 Stars...I accepted all 3 books, but had I known what I know now, I wouldn't have. This trilogy could have easily been told in one book. The storyline drug on and on, too long, and uninteresting. I got it, Marie's mother was a horrible person, both verbally and physically abusive and Marie is trapped. Matteo is the one bright spot in her life, but he is an enigma. Too long, too boring. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This was about Marie who was stuck looking after her sick mother and Mateo a Mafia man who whisked her off her feet. This was well written and a great story but the drama was a bit hard to take. All the talk about her abusive mother and that taking most of her life. Beaten down and losing hope i do understand. But to be the main focus of the story was a bit overwhelming. Aside from that the time with Mateo and the drama was well done and their chemistry was strong and inviting. Great story!. Mafia's Dirty Secret by Summer Cooper is a good, and enjoyable steamy small town bad boy alpha male mafia romantic suspense read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line that is unpredictable, and has an easy to read story line. The characters are great, wonderful, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining page turning steamy romance read that does does end with a cliffhanger. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review vol
