Story's okay but the lack of editing drops you out of the story continuously. I don't think I have ever read a book so poorly edited, and the first in the series wasn't much better. The other problem is the of the first person narrative. At times the author will jump focus from one character to another, but will continue using the first person narrative, which makes the book disjointed and cumbersome. Good story but lazy writing.

I have to agree with some of the other reviews. This is a good series and a very enjoyable read. The author however, should fire whoever decided that it was acceptable to publish this book in its existing format. None of the features typically available in an ebook are present (increased font size, read aloud, viewing format, etc...) Rather, it appears that someone took a paperback book and scanned it, page by page into a PDF then published it.

My review has nothing to do with content. Loved the first one, guessing
I'll love this one. My issue is the laziness with which they converted it
to ebook format. None of the text tools work. I can't have a black screen.
It's like the just scanned pages of a book and threw them together calling
it an ebook instead of correctly transferring things to a manipulatable
format.
