What an amazing journey! Some books just beg to be made into a full-length movie, but this one would have to be a six-episode mini-series, at least. There's just so much going on, and not a single second of the book felt slow or drawn out. Maggie is comfortable with her nomadic lifestyle, moving from one renovation to the next, with her best friend as her partner and nearly a million followers online. Leaving no trace keeps her from having to risk personal relationships, a plan that works until she tackles a rather personal project, the Old Campbell Place in Kinship, Idaho. Silas is the visionary landscaper who helps bring this historical landmark back to life. Right from the start, his flirty confidence and quiet devotion to Maggie is impossible to resist. His picture-perfect family was hilariously authentic, and his patience with Maggie as she figures out what comes next was downright swoon-worthy. Maggie's secrets are carefully teased out, one by one, until we get the full picture of why she's so guarded and careful. But by that time, it's too late for her to put the genie back in the bottle. Changes are coming, and she's got to figure out just what it is she's looking for in life. The house itself has quite a bit of mystery surrounding it, and that, along with the town's 150-year-old treasure hunt, added quite a beautiful framework for Maggie and Silas to examine what they have together and what kind of a future they can create. I thought at first I'd figured Dean out from the rather obvious clues, but it turns out that his story is much more than I'd originally thought. His was a brilliant character, giving just the right kind of support without becoming an impediment in any way. I was thrilled to see him get his own HEA, and even more thrilled with how that actually played out. This is a fully immersive book, with excellent use of foreshadowing, witty, inventive wordplay, plenty of laugh out loud humor when you least expect it, and a depth of emotional insight and heartwarming honesty that is rarely seen in contemporary romances. The Kayak Therapy is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives. The picture-perfect HEA is followed by one of the most all-encompassing, expansive epilogues ever. The author's word choices to describe the emotional process of joining two lives into one were simply exquisite, and will make a true romantic out of even the most cynical heart. This is the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last. I have a new top ten author added to my list and I honestly can't recommend this book enough. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score is about a YouTube sensation house flipper Maggie Nichols and her partner Dean Jensen. They finish one project, and it's on to the next one until she purchases a Queen Anne Victorian in Idaho sight unseen, Old Campbell place. The plan is to complete this project in four months with a local team to assist with things they cannot handle. The locals include Silas Wright, Bitterroot Landscaping, in charge of the outdoor area, including the horse fountain. Wallace Pfeffe

Thoroughly enjoyable! Ha! Lucy Score's Maggie Moves On literally has everything you'd want in a fun, flirty romance with all the good feels. Maggie's not set out for a personal journey when she purchases her next reno, but that's what she ends up with. Between friendship, romance, family drama, and self-discovery, this girl's got a full plate. Oh, and I can't forget the adorable dog (attached to her future landscape designer's shapely hips!). Laugh out loud funny, narrator Emma Wilder.
