5 stars, Innocence Lost THE WIVES OF BOWIE STONE By Maggie Osborne Rose is a woman with a destructive streak a mile wide. She desperately needs to have a profitable crop from her ranch. The only way that can happen is if she has help. Rose rescues Bowie from a hangman's scaffolding and together they work to make their land profitable. Highly recommend. Rose, Bowie, and Nate are my favorite characters. Innocence is lost, but it may be possible for it to be found again. There are two sexual encounters in the novel that are a bit too graphic, but you'll understand why as you immerse yourself in the story.
