Elijah was injured when he was in the marines. His scars have him hiding in his grandma's basement using his voice for audio books. Lucas is a deejay at the local radio station and feels like all the men he meets just want one night stands and he wants more. They both want more but one is afraid of rejection and the other feels he's missing a piece in his life. The two meet and wonder if they can find love with each other.

I am loving this series and really enjoyed this addition. Eli and Lucas really suited each other and the storyline developed really well with great side characters who really added to this story of love and was great to see Eli get his hea.
