About the author

Sutuni Bon Mambo is a Haitian American Mambo Asogwe (High Priestess)  of the Haitian Vodou religion. Originally from Brooklyn New York, she has a degree in healthcare office administration and a background in performing arts. She is an actress and vocalist as well. Wife to a Hougan (Vodou priest), Sutuni’s life is deeply steeped in Vodou. She serves most of the Lwa of the 21 nations with pride and passion. Hailing from Andeyo Tomazo Haiti is where her family is originally from eventually settling in Port Au Prince, Haiti. She shares her body of work in this photo journal of her hard work, passion, and drive to feed and celebrate the spirits.
