Decent telling of the overall story of Wolf Children, but is missing almost all of the charm presented in the movie, though mostly due to the limitations of the format, especially as an adapted and translated work.

Mamoru Hosoda is an internationally acclaimed animator and director who has previously helmed such award-winning movies as The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, and The Boy and the Beast.
