Undercover duty this time. brought more than Ezra bargained for. On his way to an important meeting, he is interrupted and saves a special child who calls to him. He tries to protect her from seeing his PNR side, but she does and names him Newt. Okay, Sweet Pea is a special little girl, unfortunately, he can't follow through without blowing his mission. Leaving her at a hospital he loses contact with her, but they will meet again and again. Holland is special, she just doesn't know how to control her gift. Still, she lives a rough life, goes to school to become a reporter. Going where others fear to go, she unknowingly meets other gifted men in her protection team and gets into big trouble. Ezra ran into her again, however, he didn't see Holland as Sweet Pea, it was sixteen years later. He did realize that Holland was special. The next time they touch he is a prisoner and she is running from the enemy. There is action, heat—lots of heat, these two have a “burning” chemistry, danger, and another team of really special forces. The romance is truly one through the ages and touching. The lovers, both alpha, must be destined to find each other after all they go through. Don't miss another great story in the Immortal/PSI-Ops. This is a world of Immortal defenders protecting the world that just keeps giving. I will never miss a book and you won't either if you read one. Start with this one. Each book will stand alone but will refer to characters in previous books.

Great read! This book included so much action, but not to much that it took anything away from the romance. Ezra and Holland meet when he saves her from a burning building as a child. They meet up again 16 years later, but neither realizes it. Another four years later and Ezra is again coming to her rescue. Add in the other supernatural, like Donnie, Echo, Russel, etc and you have a great, action packed.

Mandy Roth did it again, another book in this series that she knocked out of the park! I was given a copy of this book for my honest review. I will admit that while the whole thing was action packed, the 1st half was very good, but not great. The 2nd half of this book however, more than made up for it because it was amazingly great!! Ms. Roth's attention to detail is awesome and her characters come to life. I loved it!
