Woah just woah.. I've always wished to become a Story-writer.. someone who inspired other to do what they always wanted to do.. I never really thought of a way to get into it, I am very young after all and I've felt I never really had an opportunity- especially as someone in America where you don't just have competitions to see who has he most potential.. and I've actually never even wrote a manga or you could say comic.. I've wrote little stories that I keep in my notes but I just never felt great enough to put something down.. or that my stories might even be worth the while, but this makes me realize how would I even know if it'll make it big if I never try, as to see JoJo isn't Araki's first ever work.. it took him a few tries just to get a giant fan base like he does today, which he completely deserves. and I don't really know what I'm trying to get at here, but I feel like if I don't just try and take a risk that'll be the biggest risk of them all.. I've reached the limit.but ty

While this book goes about teaching you the path of writing manga, pretty much all of the tips and advice would be able to help in all types of storytelling. This is probably my favorite book on writing and it's amazing to read hand in hand with his manga series to further see examples of his advice and techniques!

About the author

Hirohiko Araki made his manga debut in 1981 with the Wild West story Busô Poker. He experimented with several genres, including mystery (Mashonen B.T.) and action-horror (Baoh), before beginning JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure in 1986. Propelled by imaginative storylines, weird imagery and individualistic artwork, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the longest-running and most popular shonen manga ever. Araki’s current works include a new series set in the JoJo universe, JoJolion.
